A hard fought draw

On a beautiful fall day, we worked hard to challenge a strong BB&N squad. Though both teams had opportunities in the first half, neither could break through. Early in the second half, a searching through ball from Will put Theo in dangerously, and he earned a PK. Wally struck it confidently to put Groton ahead 1-0. After significant pressure, BB&N was awarded a PK of their own. The resulting goal finished the scoring. Tenacious defense by Evan and Sam frustrated BB&N all day long, with Patrick cleaning up any one who snuck by them.
