Academics

Learning will be different at Groton.

A wide angle of a classroom, students are sitting in a circular arrangement around a set of tables with the teacher

The average class has eleven students, and each of your classmates will be as bright and curious as you are. You’ll get to know your teachers—in the classroom, in the dorm, and on the athletic fields—and they will get to know you, too. With the encouragement of these dedicated teachers and peers, you’ll be challenged to learn broadly and deeply, to analyze critically and ask probing questions. At Groton, you will learn to think.
