Parents Weekend

We are delighted to invite Groton families to Parents Weekend
Friday, October 29 – Sunday, October 31
We plan to hold Parents Weekend in person, with COVID-19 precautions in place.

Our parent-faculty conferences are at the heart of Parents Weekend, and we look forward to bringing them back this year. We will contact those who cannot attend in person to arrange virtual conferences.

Parent-faculty conference registration will be available from Wednesday, October 6 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, October 11 at noon. Appointments with faculty are ten minutes long and may be scheduled at the following times (Eastern):

Friday, October 29, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 30, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Additional slots are available Thursday, October 28 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., primarily for local families.

We are planning to hold our usual activities, including our Saturday night student performance, receptions for parents of each form, and athletic competitions. To reduce risk during the pandemic, virtually all activities will occur outdoors. Please be prepared for New England’s unpredictable late autumn weather.

Please remember that Groton School is a fully vaccinated community. Visitors may be asked to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19. We must ask that you stay out of all dormitories; if you are in any other buildings, our protocols require that you wear a mask. If children too young to be vaccinated will accompany you, please have them wear a mask both indoors and outdoors.

As usual, due to the pandemic, all plans are subject to change. We are looking forward, with optimism, to Parents Weekend 2021.
