Groton Fund

The Groton Fund, which includes the Parent Fund, supports every aspect of life at Groton, including faculty compensation, athletics, the library, technology, and maintenance of our beautiful campus.
Each year parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, and friends help the Groton Fund reach its goal, bolstering the school’s fiscal strength. These gifts help preserve the endowment, ensuring that Groton continues to provide an exceptional education for both current students and generations to come.

The Groton Fund contributes about 11 percent of Groton’s annual budget, resulting in many of the school’s extraordinary opportunities for students.

An essential part of the Groton Fund is the Parent Fund, which—thanks to our dedicated and generous parents—also provides critical support to the school.

Give2Groton—a day of gratitude and giving—happens each October, in honor of Groton School’s birthday. As events are shared on social media and a Give2Groton web page, momentum grows. It’s a fun and productive day, and as enthusiasm builds, so do generous donations to the Groton Fund.
    • On the school's birthday, Fifth Formers sing "Blue Bottles," one of Groton's quirkier traditions.
