Fitting Finish

This final team match of the season tipped the Groton record above .500 and secured fourth place in the ISL. Neither of those accomplishments seemed likely when the season began, but these players have shown great dedication, practiced with relentless focus, supported each other in competition and, as a result, achieved noticeable improvement from week to week. A great deal of the credit for the team's positive spirit and hard work goes to Walker Davey, who has served as an outstanding Captain in every way.
