A great start!

After losing the corresponding fixture to Taft 5-2 last season, the girls put up an outstanding display of determination and spirit to win 4-3 at home in our first fixture of the season. There were a lot of really close games going to the tiebreaker, with Amy Lu's 14-12 in the fifth game the most exciting one, but unfortunately, the last couple of points went the wrong way. Amy's determination to push herself to the physical edge almost gave her a win but it also provided huge inspiration to the rest of the team! The appreciative spectators enjoyed it too!
