Zeebs Top Fenn in OT

Quick trip down Route 2 to play a talented Fenn team in the Concord-Carlisle stadium this afternoon. Fenn, a junior school with a strong athletic tradition, has alumni on many prep and collegiate rosters.  With four loaners from the Groton varsity team added to the jv roster, the Junior Zeebs got off to a quick start on three Etti Monson goals. Fenn stormed back with three of their own, setting the stage for a tight second half that saw Groton earn three leads, but seeing those leads evaporate as Fenn battled gamely. Ultimately it was Ryder Woodworth who scored the game-winner late in the first overtime period.
