On the road -- another victory for the boys

Both the varsity and JV teams traveled together today to Thayer Academy down in Braintree. It was another strong outing by the boys, who won decisively in all singles and doubles matches. Noting victories today for Groton were Trip Wight, Griffin Gura, Michael Lu, Samuel Lu, Husayn Ladha, Miles Zhang, Thaddaeus Flatz-Ehrfeld, Charlie Stubbs, Teddy Kellerher, Aryan Malo, Max Fan, Varun Gite, Arman Khanna, Quin Davis and William Garcia. Commented Coach Conner: "I always love playing Thayer. It was a treat to run into former Groton student, Terry DeGray Lukens, now a Spanish teacher at Thayer, whose son plays on the Theyer JV squad. We were greeted warmly by their coach and team, and a joyous McDonald's feast on the way home was icing on the cake of a great afternoon."  This Saturday, Groton plays Roxbury Latin at 2:00 p.m at home.
