Foxes Outrun Zebras
This tilt has traditionally been an intense, competitive affair, and this year's game proved no different.
While Roxbury Latin jumped out to an early 2-0 first quarter lead, Groton responded, going up, 3-2. More back and forth resulted in an 8-7 Roxbury Latin edge at halftime.
Two more RL goals extended the Foxes' lead in the third, and while Groton battled to close the gap, possession of the ball then penalties provided more opportunities for RL, on which they capitalized.
A noble effort, still, on the part of Groton versus a formidable opponent.
