Last game of the season

Middlesex came to town this afternoon for the final game of the season for this JV squad, and what a great game! Aggressive, fast, well-played, great teamwork, excitement, lots of end to end skating, many shots, and great saves by both goalies.Groton tallies came from Sunny Ma, Eliza Brooks (2), and defense player Clara Trevino, who scored the first goal of her career. Before the team hit the ice, there was a quick tribute to the two seniors, Emelie Engstrom and Mim Kovriga, both of who were new to the squad this year but quickly established themselves as integral parts of the group. We are sorry that we only had them with us for one year! On to the the spring season. JV girls puck will be back in December!
