Groton Wins at BB&N

The Groton Zebras dominated early in the game with Devin Fitzgerald scoring just 20 seconds into the 1st period. Assists went to Connor Wig and Kaiden Donia. KJ Ni extended the Zebra and made it 2-0 at the 4:55 mark, with Christian Armaly providing the assist. However, BB&N quickly responded at 7:12 as Hunter Barone found the net, assisted by Alex Robbins and Ben Romer. Groton didn't let up, and at 7:30, Allen Fang added another goal, assisted by Christian Armaly and Zach Baker.

In the second period, BB&N fought back when Daigo Hotta scored at 1:22. Groton maintained their lead with Ryder Cavanaugh scoring at 13:34, assisted by Alejandro Hassan and Christian Armaly. This goal proved to be the winner.

In the final period, BB&N attempted a comeback, and scored on a 6x5 at 17:20 to make it close. The Zebras held on, however, and won their sixth game in month of January. The Groton goaltending was solid with 3rd former Alex Wang, who played for 54 minutes, faced 25 shots, and allowed 3 goals.
