Strong opponents!

A very strong Brooks team showed up in Groton this afternoon and quickly put several tallies on the board. Their skaters and their goalie all looked experienced; they did not have much in the way of new skaters. By the end of the second period the score was 1-10, but the Groton girls did not quit. The second period, in fact, showed a group of girls playing for pride and working together to try to play solid defense and to fight for scoring opportunities. They carried that energy and enthusiasm into the third period and were rewarded with five well-earned goals.
