Groton Triumphs 4-2 Over Pingree

In a thrilling New England Prep Hockey match-up, Groton emerged victorious against Pingree School with a final score of 4-2. The action-packed game saw Groton's Devin Fitzgerald netting the first goal in the opening period at 14:50. Assists went to Harrison Freelove and Christian Armaly. The second period featured goals from Pingree's Joe Gaffney and Max Guertin, the latter during a 4-on-4 play, while Groton's Kaiden Donia responded with his own 4x4 goal assisted by Connor Wig and Zach Baker. The third period proved decisive as Christian Armaly ripped a top corner goal from the blueline and Allen Fang secured the win for Groton at 5:57 and 16:50 (empty-netter) respectively. Groton's goalie, Ethan Ramonetti, was stellar in net, facing 33 shots and allowing only 2 goals. With this win, Groton's record stands at 6-4-4. Tomorrow afternoon at 2:30pm, the Zebras take on I.S.L. rival Middlesex at home.
