Zebras Take Down Exeter

In a highly anticipated match heralding the New Year, the Zebras clinched their first win in 2024 with a narrow 1-0 victory over Exeter. The game remained deadlocked at 0-0 heading into the final period, both teams fiercely defending their goals.
However, the Groton boys entered the third period with renewed energy and focus. Harrison Freelove seized the opportunity early on, scoring just a minute into the period, giving Groton the lead they needed. With a solid defensive performance, Groton's Defense thwarted Exeter's attempts, ensuring that Ethan Ramonetti secured a shutout, denying Exeter any goals. The Zebras will play another road game again tomorrow against I.S.L. rival Brooks School.
