Zebras Win
The GVH team picked up an important win on Wednesday afternoon against a good Tilton club. Dani Shyjan '25 put the Zebras ahead 1-0, but Tilton responded quickly with a goal of their own to tie things up 1-1. After a scoreless second, Lauren Ash '26 picked up her first of the season and the GWG midway through the third. Tina Scalese '26 buried another one with several minutes remaining to put the Zebras up for good.
It was an all around team effort - Groton outshot Tilton 47-15. The defensive core was outstanding, and Veronika Hadamovsky picked up her third win of the season kicking out 14 saves in the win.
