Groton Knocks Off KUA
The Zebras picked up their second win of the season knocking off KUA 5-0 on Saturday night. After a scoreless first, Maddie Cronan '25 found the back of the net midway through the second to put Groton up 1-0. Several minutes later, Tina Scalese '26 buried her second of the season and giving the Zebras a 2-0 lead heading into the final period.
The team found the net three more times in the third - two of them coming from Cronan and capping off her first hat trick of her Groton career. While Jaelyn Trudell '26 picked up her first of the season to seal the win on the game.
Sixth Former Veronika Hadamovsky picked up her first shutout of the season kicking out 14 saves in the win. The Zebras get back to work as the prepare for a strong Tilton squad on Wednesday afternoon in the OB. Puck drops at 3pm!
