Quarter Final Win

It was a rematch from Saturday with Groton ranked #4 and St. Mark's ranked #5 in the NEPSAC Class B tournament. This time Groton was the home team and the Zebras were lucky to have fantastic fan support despite it being final exam week. Groton started off strong and took a 1-0 lead heading into the half. However, St. Mark's began the second half with energy and tied things up 1-1. Then Groton took the lead again, going up 2-1. St. Mark's responded quickly with another goal of their own, tying the game 2-2. With just over two minutes remaining, Groton drove down the right hand side of the field and scored. Groton held on to win the game 3-2. They move on the Middlesex in the semi finals on Saturday.
