Nobles defeated as Long Weekend begins

Groton headed to Nobles to play against a solid Nobles squad, coached by long-time legend and consummate gentleman, Chris Burr. Groton came out very strong in doubles, earning the point with crisp play. Singles began strongly, with Groton winning five of the first six sets played. A slight sprinkling of rain caused the match to be moved indoors. Groton ended up victorious in five of six matches to set a happy tone for the arrival of Long Weekend.

When the squad returns, Groton will host Brooks at home.
