Groton vs. Belmont Hill

A flat first-half performance from Groton saw the boys enter the half at 4-0 down, as a composed Belmont Hill side exploited gaps between the midfield and defense far more often than we would have liked.  A second half resurgence failed to materialize after a promising first 15 minutes, and only Third Former Nick Holden’s smart stops in the final 15 minutes kept the score line from ballooning much further.  Sixth Former Charlie Dubois scored his first of the season towards the end of the match, but it was a frustrating end in which the Zebras couldn’t string together a more energetic and controlled showing.  Next up: Brooks on Saturday (9/30).
