Groton Trivia - October 2014
In the early athletic years at Groton School, students were places on two teams, W or M. Each with three teams (or crews) that played a series of games for the club championships. This intermural club system was the backbone and beginning of organized athletics. The W and M flags are displayed in the Alumni Office. What do the M and W stand for?
