Zebras Defeat Knights
Adjusting to impending weather issues (lightning/thunder), we nudged up the face-off to 2:30pm, and the first half proved to be a battle against a well-skilled BBN squad. Up 5-2 at intermission, BBN came out hard in the 3rd, closing it to 5-4, but Groton rattled off six straight goals to take an 11-4 lead.
And yet BBN refused to yield, tallying four more late in the fourth for a 12-8 final.
