Golden Day

Though we ran all the boys together, Joshua Guo was the first JV runner to cross the finish line (coming in 8th place overall for Groton and beating BB&N's 8th runner by 4 places, several paces, and sixteen seconds). Lars Caspersen (who finished in 19:34) and Derek Chang (who finished in 19:52) also beat BB&N's JV leader, earning us second and third place in this race as well. Groton had a strong sub-twenty one minute pack with six runners in a row: Joey O'Brien finished in 20:04, Jack McLaughlin in 20:13, Westby Caspersen in 20:19, John Michaud in 20:35, Lwazi Bululu in 20:40, and Michael Xiao in 20:44. Kevin Xiao finished in 21:09, Aaron Jin in 21:30, Chris Ye in 21:38, Andrew Pearson in 22:34, Anirudh Gogineni in 22:30, Oliver Ye in 23:53, and Brooks Anderson in 24:43.
