Zeebs End Season on a High Note

J Funnell
After three league losses, Groton was looking to bounce back and end the season on a positive note. The Zebras took charge early, jumping out to a 3-0 lead and maintaining a comfortable cushion throughout en route to a 10-3 win. Britton Pyne played well, netting two scores, but the loudest cheer of the day was reserved for Dan MacDonald. MacDonald, known primarily for his speed and ground ball work, tallied his first goal of the season, to the delight of fans and teammates. Logging season-high minutes were Anwar Mapp, Sully Hamdan, and Jarvis Bereday, who all played multiple positions in helping to secure a satisfying win against rival St. Mark's.
