vs. The Rivers School – Game Recap

Renée Twogood
In our season opener away at The Rivers School, the JV lacrosse team put forth an outstanding effort, despite a tough 4–2 loss. With only a few subs available, our players showed resilience, hustle, and a great team spirit throughout all four quarters.

We got on the scoreboard with two well-earned goals, one from Lily Shapiro and another from Zoë Smith, both capitalizing on opportunities created through strong teamwork and determination. More importantly, this first game was a huge learning experience. The girls embraced the chance to deepen their understanding of the rules and strategies of the game, and their positive attitude was contagious.

We’re proud of how the team came together, supported each other, and played with heart. The foundation is set, and we’re excited to keep building on it in the games ahead!
