Zeebs turn up the heat at Milton
The Groton girls battled the traffic, the heat, and some veteran opponents to come away with a quality win.
With the sun beating down, the teams take the court for doubles. The Zeebs got off to a hot start, with quality serves and returns paving the path to early leads. #3 Doubles put together their most impressive performance of the season, coming away with an 8-0 win. #1 would soon follow, with #2 right behind them. 3-0 Groton headed into singles.
Powerful displays of offense would help navigate Groton to the final two points needed to seal the victory. The team would take five of six singles matches to wrap up an 8-1 win. JV would join the team on court for a BIG group photo on our final road match. Pizza and wings were a smash hit on the bus ride home.
