Great match against a lovely opponent
The Groton Girls took a trip out east on a Friday night to take on a wonderful Rivers squad.
Doubles was an excellent showing, with #1 and #2 taking their matches with gusto. #3 Doubles was a dog fight, with Groton keeping a steady lead and ultimately pulling out an 8-6 win.
Singles started up and continued Groton's good fortune. The Zeebs would take the first four positions, with quality tennis being played throughout. Rivers proved to be strong on the bottom of the line-up, taking #5 and #6 as darkness set it.
