Home, sweet home!

After road trips to BB&N and Rivers earlier in the week, the boys were delighted to be back home, playing outdoors on an absolutely picture-perfect day. And their play was up to the caliber of the weather.

Groton, in fact, won every single set, both in singles and doubles. Each team member, then, notched multiple victories: Tri-captains Jack Lionette, Larry Li and Will Vrattos, as well as Trip Wight, Griffin Gura, Michael Lu, Alec Konigsberg and Lucas Li. When the last match ended, the score stood 7-0.

Groton's dual match record now stands at 14-1 with three matches remaining.

The squad will enjoy a day of rest away from the courts on Monday to gather strength for an exciting upcoming week, featuring both Belmont Hill and the New England Championships.
