Groton Draws with St. George's
After a scoreless first half in which Groton played well but couldn't find the back of the net, the Zebras adjusted tactics to try and open up more scoring opportunities.
The St. George's defense continued to play well very well in the second half, and the Dragons offense opened the scoring and took a 1-0 lead with under ten minutes remaining. Groton responded well to the challenge, and Tyler Martens netted the equalizer with just a few minutes left on the clock.
Groton (1-2-1) travels to Pomfret on Wednesday.
