Groton Wins Round #2
The GVH team hosted Pomfret School in their second meeting of the year on Saturday afternoon. Groton scored on the first shift of the game as Tina Scalese '26 buried a 2v1 coming off the stick of Grace Crowley '22. After a scoreless second, Groton found the back of the net again as Crowley buried a rebound midway through the 3rd - with assists coming from Karenna Beckstein '23 and Kiely Murphy '25. Colby Gund '24 closed out the game with an ENG and her first career Groton goal!
Veronika Hadamovsky '24 played solid once again - kicking out 15 saves in the victory and picking up her second shutout of the week.
The GVH has a big week ahead of them as they travel to Gov's Wednesday afternoon for a 4:45pm matchup.
