banjo and guitar, has been a full time musician since 1984, and has toured world wide, presenting concerts and giving music workshops. His main instruments are guitar and banjo, and he has performed and taught in Afghanistan, India, Israel, Denmark, Scotland, England, France, Sweden,Canada, and in 44 states. He is best known for playing fingerstyle and slide blues guitar, and for old time clawhammer banjo, but he is also been seen playing lesser known instruments, such as jaw harps, the musical saw, and various zither type instruments like the marxophone, to name a few. Larry has written more than 2000 tunes, many of which have been performed and recorded by groups from Anchorage to Zimbabwe. His music has been heard on several Ken Burns PBS shows.
