Mark Machan joined the Groton community in the fall of 2014. Mark previously worked as the Associate Director of College Counseling at St. Mark's and as the Assistant Director of College Counseling at Princeton Day School. Prior to his secondary school experience, Mark spent nine years working in the admission office at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.

Mark holds a BA from Union College and an MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College. An avid cyclist and enthusiastic collegiate hockey fan, Mark lives in a dorm with his wife, Kate, and children Teddy and Elizabeth.
