Home Opener

Groton's boys' JV lacrosse team hosted the Dragons from St. George's on Saturday afternoon.  Leo Quigley scored our first goal from a nice assist courtesy of Alex Foley.  Alejandro Hassan added a scrappy second goal in the third quarter.  Our third point was scored by Alex Foley, who ran hard up and down the field throughout the game.  Our defense had trouble stopping St. George's strong offensive attack.  The game could have been less close if our goalie, Beau Kimler, hadn't made several excellent saves.
