ISL Opener Goes Smoothly
The ISL season kicked off with a win against a very friendly Governors team. The brisk conditions could not cool down the red-hot start for the Lady Zeebs.
Doubles was a riveting affair, with Groton players serving and volleying up a storm en route to a 3-0 sweep. Singles would be much of the same. Govs got off to a strong start in a few matches, but the Zeebs would not be denied.
The match came to a close with the Stripes winning all nine matches and re-joining JV, who shared a similar result. A special thank you to Coach Prockop, who dusted off his tennis hat to help lead JV to victory.
