Groton wins ISL home opener versus Governor's
On a beautiful spring day, Groton began its ISL season with a crisp 7-0 victory over Governor's at home. Up and down the line-up, the boys were sharp, moving well and taking advantage of opportunities to win points. Groton won straight set victories in all singles contests and also captured the eight-game pro-sets in the doubles contests. Representing the Zebras today were Trip Wight, Griffin Gura, Michael Lu, Sam Lu, Thaddaeus Flatz-Ehrfeld, Husayn Ladha, Miles Zhang, and Charlie Stubbs. All players were victorious in singles and doubles. Saturday the ISL schedule continues with an away match versus St. Sebastian's.
