Groton volleyball is my favorite part of fall because of our team’s energy and our passionate players and coaches. Groton volleyball, for the first time in the history of the program, beat Andover this fall. Our team is undefeated so far this season.

We have also been starting the season strong with our team bonding by tie dying shirts for the yearly play-day at Brooks and silk screening “Groton” onto them, with the help of Ms. Donovan in the art center. We also started the tradition of GVVB’s annual team relay race, which consists of a game of “Princess Bear Hunter,” a balloon caterpillar race, and more. Being on the volleyball team at Groton has helped me make friends in other forms, both below and above mine, and has helped me improve so much as an athlete.
