Before returning to the circle, I unfortunately had to drop off my favorite Grotonian, my older sibling Clarke '25, at college.

Being on campus without them will be a new experience for me. This past year, we were in the same dorm, so I got to see them a lot! We shared a lot of fun memories, like dancing the night away together at Spring Formal, one of the two main, yearly Groton dances.

My favorite memory from our time together at Groton was when we brought home the win for the girls' dorms at Spring Fling (a yearly competition between dorms that consists of a relay race, dodgeball, a mystery event, and tug of war) together.

Later that night, Clarke and I helped prepare our dorm for a celebratory campfire check-in by carrying Mr. Capen's fire pit across campus while loudly listening to our dorm's playlist. We ate s'mores at the firepit and enjoyed one of our final check-ins together at Groton.
