On Friday, December 12, our entire form gathered together at the Student Center for our first-ever form Secret Santa! With around 90 people there, we formed a giant circle around the gifts and took turns giving and opening presents. Although Fridays are usually my busiest days, I felt so happy sitting with my friends that day, drinking hot chocolate and having fun together.

The following Wednesday, my dorm, Wall’s, gathered at check-in for another long-anticipated Secret Santa!! We squeezed ourselves around the table and piled it with our gifts as well as cookies and candy, which we then proceeded to stuff our mouths with. Then, we went around opening up gifts and guessing who our Secret Santa was, with the presents ranging from daily essentials and candy to a dollar bill blanket and a karaoke speaker. The room was filled with laughter from people opening up funny gifts and guessing their Secret Santas wrong.

I can’t wait to continue these traditions next year!
