On the night of November 11, the northern lights made Groton’s already beautiful campus feel magical. The aurora shimmered, giving the whole place this calm, glowing atmosphere, that you would usually see from places farther north. Students put down their books and stepped outside to take in the night sky, and for a few minutes it didn’t seem as cold as it was. From someone who could never see the northern lights from NYC, because of the light pollution, this was truly a magical moment that made Groton’s campus even more alive.
