A much needed break from studies, this past long weekend would best be described as chaos in the Big Apple. Come noon on Friday, October 10, I shipped off with a few friends on an Amtrak train bound for Manhattan (promising myself I would work on college applications but in reality knowing I would do no such thing).

Every year, a highly anticipated first-week-of-school tradition is the first dance of the year. The first Saturday night after classes begin is Dorm Storm.

Groton volleyball is my favorite part of fall because of our team’s energy and our passionate players and coaches. Groton volleyball, for the first time in the history of the program, beat Andover this fall.

Year 141 and counting. The annual Groton School birthday celebration is a highly anticipated dinner because of the good food and blue bottles tradition. Students gather in the gym to have a sit-down meal in their advisory groups.
