Along with the warm weather and fun that come with spring term, my favorite part of the term is often track season. This winter, I sprained my ACL mid-swim season, leaving me with a growing excitement for track. Each year, my community through track has grown and allowed me to connect with friends I would have never met otherwise.

Five days before the start of spring term, the rowing team returned to campus for an intense and fun series of preseason practices! This was my second year on the girls varsity srew team as a coxswain, and since crew is the only physical sport I participate in, spending spring term afternoons on the water with my teammates is something I look forward to every year.

Seven Groton students attended the All States Festival this year, with three of us in the orchestra, three in choir, and one in the concert band. After a long eight-hour rehearsal on Friday, we wrapped up our hard work with a concert at the Hanover Theatre the following day!

(Mini) Field Trip
William '27

Last Thursday, after finishing our physics test, our class took a short trip (across the Circle) to the Chapel to explore the organ and record the frequencies of its different notes. It was a cool way to see how the concepts we had just learned about, sound waves and frequency, actually show up in the real world.
