• Ice Hockey - JV Girls

    2018 - 2019
    Head Coach: Nathaniel White

Girls JV hockey at Groton is designed to be a learn-to-play program. Each year, we add new members with a range of abilities  to our growing team. Some have played a few seasons of ice hockey, while others have little skating experience. The focus is on stick skills, game strategy, and having fun learning the sport. Each player will receive abundant ice time (including in games). On average, we practice four times per week for sixty to ninety minutes and play two games, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our opponents are often ISL teams, but we also play other novice local teams. Team size is capped at roughly twenty players each season, and the team is open to all forms.
