    2018 - 2019
    Head Coach: Nathaniel White

Girls JV hockey at Groton is designed to be a learn-to-play program. Each year, we add new members to our growing team with a range of abilities (some have played a few seasons of ice hockey, while others have little skating experience). The focus of this team is on stick skills, game strategy, and having fun learning the sport. Each player will receive abundant ice time (including games). On average, we practice four times per week (alternating early and late times and for about sixty to ninety minutes each). We try to play two games per week, on Wednesday and Saturday. Our opponents are often ISL teams, but we also play other novice local teams. Team size is capped at roughly twenty players each season, and the team is open to all forms.
