Pucks get first W of 2019
Puck got its first victory of 2019 on Friday as the shorthanded squad defeated long time rival Middlesex in an entertaining contest. Puck made the most of its opportunities in the early going and surged to a 3 goal lead thru two periods. Puck was able to tack on two more goals to build a needed cushion as the visitors came on strong late in the third period and tallied the final two goals.
Goal scorers for Puck on the day were Connor Hall with a pair and solo marks from Charlie Beard (career first), Russell Thorndike and Jack Ehrgott.
Solid efforts fron Lucas Gordon and Spencer Miller who were pressed into regular duty due to injuries.
The Puck defensive corps of Brent Gorton, Seamus McAvoy and Mike Walsh had a very good game despite being a group of only three for the entire game.
