Zebras Beat The Dragons

Groton made the long journey down to RI on Saturday afternoon to faceoff against a good St. George's team. Ronan Doherty '21 and Drew Burke '19 put the Zebras up 2-0 by the first intermission. Jonah Gold '19, later found the back of the net in the second to score a PPG. Trey Whitehead '21 added two assists and his D-partner, Brandon Slawaska '19, played well in both ends of the ice. Tristan Mecenas '21 picked up the shutout. Groton is back in action on Wednesday afternoon as they host Governor's at 3:30pm.
