Groton plays valiantly against Nobles

Groton arrived at Nobles knowing we had a tough team to play. The girls rose to the occasion spectacularly. Although the first two games were losses, Groton maintained a high level of play, nabbing some points through smart hits and strong serves. In the third game, Nobles put an entirely new team on the court, which Groton beat 25-23. In the last game, with the original team back on the court, Groton didn't let them get away easily. Middle hitter Montanna Riggs and outside hitter Rachel McMenemy particularly shone in the game, getting a number of great blocks and spikes against their tall front row.
