Zebras Earn First Win
Groton traveled to St. George's and earned a win in its first ISL match of the season. After a scoreless first half, the Zebras scored when Lily Delaney crossed the ball to Amy Lu who redirected it past the goalkeeper.
A well-organized St. George's defense and stellar play by the goalkeeper made it difficult for Groton throughout the match despite the Zebras' advantage in possession.
Groton (1-2) travels to Pomfret on Wednesday.
