Running Records for Jamie Norton '10

He holds the university record for both the 1,500-meter and the mile, the latter breaking a mark set in 1973. Jamie co-captained Tufts to a second consecutive NESCAC title, becoming the NESCAC champion at 1,500 meters and finishing third in the 5,000 meters in the same meet. He also broke the Tufts freshman record for the 1,000-meter. Jamie graduated as a two-time All American, with five appearances in DIII national championships. At the NCAA championship meet in May, he placed fifth in the 1,500-meter after being ranked 15th nationally. Earlier this year he finished tenth at the national indoor championships, going into the meet with the fourth fastest mile in the country.
