Tired legs contribute to loss

At the end of what must have been a long first week back, we found ourselves unable to match the energy of the Governor's squad. The score might not be indicative of the play overall, and Connor, Henry, Jack, and Forrest all had great scoring chances that just wouldn't go in (2 off the pipe, 1 cleaned off the goal line, breakaways and partial breaks, etc.). It was clear, though, that our guys had given all they had during the week, as we weren't able to execute on plays that we make routinely in practice. Hopefully a weekend's rest will see us recovered and ready to go for a Monday scrimmage.
