Zebras and Mustangs Battle to a Tie in Equine Showdown

In a remarkably even game, Groton scored first, Milton tallied the next two before Groton scored to tie the game at 2 halftime.  That deadlock held through the third quarter and Theo Koukopoulos on a beautiful quick-stick finish on a fast break.  It looked as though that goal might hold up, but Milton scored in the final minute to force overtime.  The referees contended that JV teams are not allowed to play OT, but agreed to one extra period. Thanks to some remarkable stops by Lucas Gordon, who had his best game of the season, the game ended knotted at 3.
