Great Match

Groton JVG Tennis played a great match against Middlesex on Saturday, winning 4-2. Eliza took care of business at 1st Singles, as did Emily at 4th Singles, and Iris and Annie at 2nd Doubles. Grace and Caroline were down 0-3 at the start but battled back to win the next 8 games in a row. Lola was down 1-5 at one point, but was able to tie the match score at 6-6 before losing the last 2 games. Cornelia went up 7-3 in her match, but her opponent was resilient and slowly chipped away at her lead, winning in an impressive match.
