Well Played

Groton faced an uphill battle today, with a depleted line-up taking the court against strong opponents. Even so, the Groton players handled themselves and the situation admirably, conducting a clean match while competing hard. The Nobles players were up to the test, but they were pushed in a number of close sets. The points Groton was able to put on the board came from Elizabeth Girian and Annabel Lee in singles and from Girian and Gloria Hui in doubles. And now, a well-earned Long Weekend for all!
